Suurenenud teadlikkus keskkonnaprobleemidest ja loodusvarade hävimisest, sotsiaalsest ebavõrdsest, ületarbimisest, saastest, ebatervislikest eluviisidest jne on pannud fookuse vastutustundlikele äripraktikatele ning loonud võimalused jätkusuutlike toodete ja teenuste turustamiseks. Selle kursuse eesmärk on arendada üliõpilaste teadmisi ja oskusi äritegevuse juhtimiseks sotsiaalselt vastutustundlikul, eetilisel ja jätkusuutlikul moel ning anda teadmisi ja oskusi kutse-eetika alal, et olla pädevam eetilistes küsimustes ja eetiliste konfliktide lahendamisel äris ning pakkuda paremat arusaamist ettevõtete sotsiaalse vastutuse peamistest põhimõtetest.

Rise in global awareness of environmental degradation and decline of natural systems and resources, social inequalities, overconsumption, pollution, unhealthy lifesyles etc has placed socially responsible business pracices into focus and has created opportunities for sustainable producs and services. This course aims to develop the knowledge and skills for managing business activities in a socially responsible, ethical and sustainable fashion and to give students knowledge and skills of professional ethics to improve their knowledge’s in ethical arguing and solving ethical conflicts in business and provide better understanding of main principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Üliõpilane:
- teab eetika ja ärieetika teoreetilisi aluseid, ettevõtte sotsiaalse vastutuse peamisi põhimõtteid ning turumajanduse ja ärieetika suhet;
- suudab eetilisi probleeme analüüsida ja lahendada, kasutades eetiliste otsuste tegemise raamistikku;
- mõistab sotsiaalselt vastutustundlike ettevõtete põhimõtteid ja säästva turustamise ulatust;
- teab jätkusuutlikkuse rolli rahvusvahelistes tegevustes.

The student:
- knows the theoretical foundations of ethics and business ethics, the main principles of corporate social responsibility and the relationship between market economy and business ethics;
- is able to analyse and solve ethical dilemmas by applying a framework for making ethical decision;
- understands the principles of socially responsible businesses and the scope of sustainable marketing;
- knows the role of sustainability in international operations.

Eetika ja moraali olemus; teleoloogiline ja deontoloogiline eetika; vooruseetika; kapitalistliku vabaturu eetilisus; eetika töösuhetes, eetika tarbijasuhetes; looduskeskkond ja eetika; infoühiskond ja eetika; sotsiaalselt vastutustundliku turunduse eetilised mõõtmed; ettevõtte sotsiaalne vastutus; juhtimiseetika ja eetikainstrumendid (eetikakoodeksid, eetikaaudit, sotsiaalsed raportid). Eetiliste otsuste langetamise raamistik. Säästev turundusstrateegia; globaalsed probleemid ja võimalused; jätkusuutlik turundus.

Consumer ethics. Ethical dimensions of socially responsible marketing. Ethics in IT. Corporate Social Responsibility. Ethics and management, ethics instruments (code of ethics, social reports, ethics audit); framework for making ethical decisions. Sustainable marketing strategy; global problems and opportunities; sustainable marketing-mix.
